We cruised along the coast, and noticed from a distance bay after bay with rocks shinning with a red to yellow like glow. We pulled into the sleepy town of Binalong Bag and we were met with the the below rather unique statue that helped set the tone. The water was not near as clear as normal, but we got to see some amazing waves as the storm pulled in.
We pulled into the first beach area and headed down to the beach to check out the locals views as well as check out the temp of the massive rolling waves hitting the beach. With each wave our eyes drew to the glowing red rocks that outlined both sides of the bay.
As we looked up one side of the beach, we spotted an old fisher mans cabin that had been now converted into a coffee shop and local sight seeing business. It was a pleasant spot to warm up from the windy day, and slight nip in the air.
Being big kids we just had to take a climb around to explore the rugged side of the beach that is always more fun than just the white sands. Jumping from what looked like rust stained rock to rock, we could not help to step back to take in the unique sights. With each climb, another wave crashing, and the clouds rolling in there was so much to take in. Just like kids we kept playing till the waves started to get closer as the tide started to roll in.
As we left town the same statue that greeted us also gave the ole Farewell.
