Now, we had different reasons to go Waco than most. Josh wanted me to see Glass Doctor headquarters, Dad always talks about a Czech bakery in West, we love Dr Pepper, and why not stop by Magnolia Market. To be honest with you. I have never watch fixer upper. I know SHOCKING! I wanted to go to magnolia market to eat at the food truck Milo. Milo is ran by a guy I went to college with, and the pictures he always posts reminds me of Eat Street Markets in Brisbane and we used to love to go there and chill. So why not?!?
We went to Magnolia Market first. They really had cute t-shirts, hats, and gee gaw nick nacks. Middle of the week on a chilly day was a perfect day to go. There was tons of free parking once we drove around to the back, and honestly there were no crowds.
After we walked around, tried Milo's truffle fries, and people watched we headed to see Glass Doctor headquarters. I was honestly shocked how small their headquarters were for such a big group of business. It was really good to see it though and really put Dyer Group more into perspective. I am so glad Josh suggested to go, walk around, and interact with headquarters.
Next, we headed to the Health Camp. It is a restaurant that has been featured on many lists. It was a while in the wall old school hamburger and shake place. Wow! It didn't disappoint. There is nothing like an old fashion grilled cheese.
After the Health Club we headed to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. They had a whole special exhibit for Nolan Ryan. I was pumped. They had his original contract, his prospect card, and many other cool things.
I would say we used our extra day very well saw Glass Doctor, and did everything Waco for sure. On our way back to Dads we stopped at the Czech bakery in West, Texas. Yep did not disappoint!
Have you been to Waco? What did you like? What did you enjoy?
