How can I even start to explain the beauty of a beach that is voted the number one beach in the world most years? This 98% silica 9 km long white beach is the beach you see when you see pictures of Australia. The best thing? There is no resorts on it. The only way you can spend the night is camping at the great price of around $6.00 a night. Yeah! you read that correctly. One of the top beaches in the world you can camp at for that price.
One drawback to this AMAZING beach is in the summer time, you have to wear stinger suits.
The last time we went, it was "winter" so we didn't have to wear the fashionable suits. The beauty of the beach outweighs the amazing suits though.
You can take a ferry to this beach from Arlie Bech, Hamilton Island, or Day Dreamer Island. I would for sure say it is a must do if you are in the area though. Last time we went we built a sand castle but since it was December this time, we decided a snowman would be perfect. Don't worry though, it didn't last long. The tide came in and it "melted."
What is one of the prettiest beaches you have ever been to?
