Not to long ago I posted about You Are Chosen. Yes, you are chosen, but are you on the right path?
Isn't that verse a little calming? He Builds His Church. We do not have to determine the speed! God determines the speed we head down the path. Can you imagine if we set the speed? That would be like the highway if we set our speed. Some would get there slow, others would get their at the right speed, while many would crash and burn along the way.
Look back that that verse....He will build his church. No matter how smart we are, He builds it. We have to be ready though. This does not mean lay back, relax and pray something will fall into your path. Take the examples of Paul and Peter, they did not sit in their house and hope something would come to them, they got out there, and got their hands dirty. They went as far to even be jailed for the the ways they tried to do God's work.
That does not mean get out there and just go down every path that is thrown into your path, either. There is always going to be sacrifice, and there will always be costs. Ask yourself before you commit though, is this a good investment of my time. "Am I investing things that will be beneficial to God's plan."
Ask yourself, can I get others involved with this plan? Is this something my family can do together? Is this something that will strengthen my family while strengthening His Church.
Make sure your life is one when you are 100 years old you can look back and say, "Wow! look what we accomplished for God." If you spend your entire life trying to determine what life means, you miss what matters most in life.
So let's get out there and live life for Him.
