Have you ever had dreams of lavender as far as the eye can see? Yeah! Me either, but if I had, I can imagine it would have looked just like this! Honestly, this made me for some reason want to sing out, "The Hills are Alive With The Sound of Music." I know I was not in Austria, and I wasn't twirling in a dress, but that really the song that kept popping in my head.
Want to know some facts about lavender? I really did learn a lot while admiring the beauty. A plant takes around four years to reach maturity and can produce for up to twenty years. It takes about 2,500 kg of flowers to produce 250kg of dried flowers.
Everything they had to buy was lavender. We chose to venture out, lavender ice cream, and cheese.
