Life For Sale!
That is what it feels
like at this moment.
This is a warning,
this is a RAW post.
We are so blessed
and happy for the opportunity
to go overseas,
I mean come on.
Of course that is an awesome country.
Think of all the other countries we have been
offered in the past couple of years,
Iran, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and I could name a few more.
Something kept happing every time
and it never got to a formal offer.
We are going to Australia,
because HE wants us right there,
and I can not wait to see what
HE has in store for us.
I have always been open to living over seas,
honestly thought it would be Honduras though.
What is that they say?
"Tell God your plans, and he laughs."
Well, he is laughing,
I would have never dreamed Australia
In saying all of this,
it is still a change and a
huge shift in your thoughts.
I am so grateful for life experiences growing up,
it has helped me prepare for this great
"life for sale."
It just really drives home the point
I learned in High School going to Honduras,
and having my Step-Dad sell
our house out from under us.
Mamma and I went from a four bedroom home,
full of things to a four ROOM house.
Let me tell you it was one of the happiest houses though.
We lovingly named it, "The Shack."
One day I was brushing my teeth
and the sink fell off the wall on to my foot.
During that time though our life was in storage,
it really helped teach the point,
the things in our home are just things.
It is the memories that matter.
While saying memories matter,
that brings me to my next point.
We have so many great memories in this house, and town.
After that experience my mother
and I have always had the saying,
I am so HAPPY that our friends are buying our things.
It just makes my heart smile!
Every time I sit on my new couch in Australia,
I will think about the people that
bought our couch here and the memories we have together.
Thank you so much friends for buying our things,
not haggling, and not coming in our home and nit picking everything.
I truly have had nightmares
about the process of selling the things in our home.
You truly made selling things
yet again a great memory in this home.
We are truly blessed with great people in our life.
Isn't it truly amazing how
God puts things in our life and at the time we can not see why,
and 14 years later you can see why.
God truly is the great mastermind,
can you imagine having that kind of foresight?
Sorry for the Raw post,
but I made this blog so people can experience
this process with us,
and this is where we are at the moment.
Thanks for checking in,
