Have you ever been to the races Australia style? It is a wonderful way to celebrate a special day, to take a visitor, or just go for fun. Before you go there are a couple things you should think about! What to wear, what your fascinator will look like, and how you want to watch the races. We decided on the 10,000 club for a delightful four course meal in a glassed in space overlooking the finish line. We were greeted as soon as we got off the lift by a gracious and friendly staff.
The feel is royal and a bit formal. The view is breathtaking. The staff make you feel welcomed straight away, with explanations about betting, the menu, and racing in general. We decided to each pick a horse to cheer for during the live races. It was exciting and fun to each have a different horse. Of course we had fun keeping up with who could pick the winning horse most often. There were several different areas to sit or stand to watch the horses race. We saw a (bachelorette) hen party and a (bachelor) buck party, on the grassy space by the fence. It can be a very formal affair or a fun family day.
As you can tell by the pictures, we tried to take the formal pictures everyone takes at the races. We were just having more fun laughing and enjoying ourself to stop and smile. What is an activity you have done with your family, that was suppose to be fancy, but you spent the entire day just laughing?
