Josh and I rented a car for a weekend, and decided to go look at antique shops. We really didn't have anything in mind when we went, but Josh really enjoys going to look. Antiques are something he learned to love from his Meme who really enjoyed antiques along with the sport of finding them. Me on the other hand, I am not an "antiquer." I did enjoy this day though.
I always love weird and different and I found just that. After looking at all the nick-nacks displayed around the shop, I decided to check out the cases in the front. Check out this new ring I got. I think this ring that has an Australian feel with the hidden pouch under the top of the ring that holds a hollow spot for something very small. Isn't the secret compartment cool?
It was the type of antique store where everyone had stalls. The stall owner was not there so we couldn't ask questions. All the cashier could tell us is what the ring was made out of. Well, I figured I could get online and find out a lot of information about it. Oh, was I wrong. I CAN'T find much information on it. It has been fun researching though. It is one of those pieces that leaves you with all the questions of why or what, but there has to be an answer.
That is why I am posting it on here. Anyone got any ideas? Clues? Theories?
