After a long day of driving the previous day, the both of us could not wait further explore the rugged coast line that all the Aussies had told us we would see along this Great Ocean Drive. During this day, we only traveled around 40k, but it was busy busy, driving place to place, walking around, exploring, making fun of signs, and taking pictures.
There are so many stops around Port Campbell. We headed out town and started at Bay of Islands and worked our way down stopping at all the wonderful stops (London Bridge, The Grotto, Loch Ard Gorge, and many others.) Stopping along the way to hear the roar of the ocean as the waves crashed along the rocks. Each crashing wave that has come before had sculpted the wondrous sights we saw that day. It made up stop and talk how it took every wave to make the beautiful oceanside. Then we discussed how the positive and negative things in our life are like the waves they are here and gone quickly but help shape our life.
It was safe to say we had a lot of fun and enjoyed being out of the city and enjoying God's handy work. What started as just another weekend trip, ended as a realization how small we truly are on this massive creation, but also was a reflecting point on how all the troubles you have will one day be washed away.
