Too Adventures For ME!

You don't see me say I was too scared to do something very often, but the other day, that's exactly what I did.  I chickened out, but before you judge, look at what Josh wanted me to do.
Picture
See that rock?  Josh wanted to climb it.
Picture
We got half way up, and then I got hit with scaredy pants.

Do you see the degree of rock climbing needed without climbing gear?
Picture
I am sorry, but any "hike" I go on and need a helmet, and do not have any rock climbing gear.... I am out.
Picture
The view from the chicken seat, wasn't bad....Josh's view was better though.
Picture
After we finished and Josh summited Mt. Tibrogargan at the Glasshouse Mountains, Josh was ready to try Mt. Beerwah.  I attempted it....

Do you see the sheer scale of this climb.....I was about half way up to the girls seated in the picture. I was laying on the rock, shimming my way up the cliff.  Next thing I knew someone then screamed, "ROCK."  I laid flat while still looking up.  The next thing I saw was a pebble hitting right in-front of  me and jumping over my body.....Yeah, scaredy pants again.
Picture
Don't worry, Josh was man enough for all and climbed up.  Mind you, this is an open "track" and people do it all the time.
Picture
I settled for just looking at sights and talked Josh into going to do something I could succeed at.....Island Time!!!

We drove an hour down the road and jumped on the $8.00 return trip ferry to Coochie Island.
Picture
We ended up walking around the entire island and just enjoying the beach.  Now, I can tell you that Coochie is not exactly the best island around, or even the best beach, but when the return trip is so cheap, why not. As with any beach it has its own beauty and wonderful beaches, but the day we went the water was a bit choppy.
Picture
We had fun just looking for fun shells and enjoying one of our last weekends here before everything gets crazy.

Tell me about a time you have chickened out.

I don't scare easily either. I chickened out on "The Nerve Test" in The Grampians (Victoria)

But I have bungy jumped, tandem parachuted and abseiled down the side of a 35floor building.

That looks like it would be harder coming down than going up? Great pictures.
Google Longs Peak in Colorado sometime. I came very close to backing down when I got to The keyhole part of that climb. Pretty scary site. 😎

Absolutely beautiful. Glad Josh went forward. Glad you stayed back. Everybody has their limits.
